The Snowspeeder was a two-man vessel, with a pilot and rear-facing tail gunner. It was a modified T-47 Airspeeder to become a snowspeeder, so it would stand the crippling cold environment. The Snowspeeder like the T-47 Aiirspeeder was a small, wedge-shaped craft with two forward-facing laser cannons. In its rear arc was a harpoon gun fitted with a heavy-duty tow cable. Its main objective was to patrol and defend the base of the Rebel Alliance.
