U-Wing Fighter (or UT-60D) is a fictional Rebel transport and gunship that appears in the movie Star Wars Rogue One. Used by the Rebel Alliance, these ships are used to drop troops into battle, and provide cover fire for them. U-Wings feature a side door which could also be used as a viewport for a mounted blaster cannon. The U-Wing's retractable wings could be forward-facing or backward-facing to speed up and attack.
