This DPST Rocker Switch is basically, 2 SPST Rocker Switches side-by-side. When you press the rocker into the O position, both circuits are off, when you press into the I (on) position, the 2 left pins become connected and the 2 right pins become connected (so 2 independent circuits can be turned on from a single switch).
