A "breathing light" is often called a pulsing light or breathing LED. This effect is common in electronics and refers to an LED that gradually increases and decreases in brightness, simulating a "breathing" motion. In technical terms, it's created using pulse-width modulation (PWM) to adjust the LED's brightness in a smooth, cyclical pattern.

Assembly Instructions:

Install Blue LEDs: Place 20 SMD 0805 Blue LEDs on LED1 to LED20. Ensure the negative terminal of each LED, marked with a green dot, aligns with the ellipse pad (negative) on the PCB.

Install the LM358 IC: Position 1 SOP-8 LM358 IC at U1. Match the small dot on one corner of the IC with the corresponding white dot on the PCB, indicating the correct orientation.

Install the Transistor: Place 1 SOT-23 S8050 Transistor at Q1.

Install the 22-ohm Resistor: Place 1 SMD 0805 Resistor with a value of 22 ohms at R5.

Install the 33K-ohm Resistor: Place 1 SMD 0805 Resistor with a value of 33K ohms at R6.

Install the 47K-ohm Resistors: Place 3 SMD 0805 Resistors with a value of 47K ohms at R1, R2, and R4.

Install the 100K-ohm Resistor: Place 1 SMD 0805 Resistor with a value of 100K ohms at R3.

Install the 47uF Capacitor: Place 1 SMD 0805 Capacitor with a value of 47uF at C1.

Install the Battery Box: Attach a 4V to 6V battery pack to the place marked DC5V. The red wire is + and the black wire is - (recommended battery packs: 4 AA Battery Pack or 2 Coin Cell Battery Pack)

Connect to Power Supply: Power up the circuit and enjoy the blue LED star's slow fade light effect!
